1. GREASE (1978)
Grease is the word! Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta rock it up as an unlikely high
school couple - she the preppy goody two shoes, he the wise-cracking rebel. Still as
popular today as it was when it was first released in the late 70s, entire generations of
fans can still sing along to every word...Oh, Sandy.

PLEASE NOTE:
The Director's Commentary on Paramount's new (Sept. 2006) Grease Rockin' Rydell Edition DVD has several
inaccuracies; the most important of which is that it is stated that Barry wasn't in the stage show. This is incorrect,
as he was cast in the First National Tour in 1973, replacing Michael Lembeck as "Sonny". He has since received
apologies from the powers that be, but unfortunately this and other misinformation will remain on this DVD in
perpetuity.
